I am collaborating with the Spanish Yuanfang Magazine. As they use Spanish, here you have another of my articles for them translated into English. You can read the Spanish version here. I hope you like it! :)

There are many ways to "decorate" the fabrics, but one of the latest trends in this field that I have seen in Taiwan, but also in Spain, in other countries and in online retailers, is the studded fashion.

Before, wearing studs was associated with a punk aesthetic, but they have lost exclusivity and people of all styles wears garments with studs. Any piece acquires a rebel touch and the whole outfit changes completely.

And studs are added to any type of clothing. The most common are studded shoes and handbags, but you can also see on shirts, belts, etc.

I especially do not like them very much, because since I'm a little goofy, I think I would end up hurting myself for sure. And there are flattened studs, but there are others that sting like needles!

What do you think? Do you like this trend? Do you have any studded pieces?
